Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 October 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Geminal Tech Private Limited, C-240, Sector 37, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201310, India ("Sorora Learning", "we", "us"). They apply to our website, Android app and Android TV app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

Our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy form part of these terms.

2. Students under 18 and parental consent

The Service is designed for school students in Class 5 to 12, their parents, and their teachers and schools. If a student is under 18, a parent or lawful guardian must agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy on the student's behalf, must authorise any purchase, and is responsible for the student's use of the Service. By letting a student under 18 use the Service, the parent or guardian confirms that they have done so. If you are under 18, you must give us your parent or guardian's correct contact details, and we will ask them to confirm. A parent or guardian who confirms agrees to these terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Service. We may restrict or suspend an account until a parent or guardian has confirmed, or if they decline.

3. The Service

Sorora Learning offers curriculum-aligned video lessons, an AI tutor that teaches by asking guiding questions, practice and quizzes, notes and flashcards, study schedules, progress reports for students and parents, and tools for teachers and schools.

Which classes, boards and subjects are available — and what each course includes — is shown in the course catalog and on the checkout page at the time of purchase. We keep improving the Service and may add, change or remove features, but we will not take away the core content of a course you have paid for during its access period.

4. Your account

  • Give accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell us straight away at the address below if you think someone else has used it.
  • An account is for one person. Do not share it or let others learn on it.
  • A parent can link to a child's account only with the invite code the child shares. Share your code only with your own parent or guardian.

5. Purchases and access

  • Prices are shown in Indian Rupees, inclusive of taxes, on the course and checkout pages. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
  • Each course or bundle is a one-time purchase of the access period shown at checkout: a monthly pass gives 30 days from purchase and a yearly plan 365 days. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. Buying a monthly pass again while it is active extends your access; it does not start a recurring payment.
  • When you upgrade from single-subject courses to a bundle, or from a monthly pass to the yearly plan, the amount already paid for what you hold is credited towards the new purchase, the earlier purchase is replaced by it, and the new access period starts on the upgrade date.
  • A parent can buy a course for a linked child, and a student can ask a parent to pay through a payment link we email to them.
  • A purchase gives the named student a personal, non-transferable licence to use the course for its access period. It cannot be resold, shared or transferred to another account.

Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, including a 7-day refund on every course.

6. The AI tutor

The AI tutor is designed to help students think through a problem rather than hand them the answer, so it will often reply with a question. It generates its replies automatically and, like any AI, can be wrong or incomplete. Check important facts against your textbook or teacher, and do not rely on the tutor for medical, legal, safety or other professional advice.

The tutor filters its replies for age-appropriateness. Please do not share personal information such as addresses, phone numbers or passwords in conversations.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, download, record, redistribute or publicly share our lessons, videos, questions or other content, except as the Service itself allows;
  • share your account or sell access to it;
  • use the AI tutor to produce harmful, abusive, sexual or unlawful content, or try to get around its safety filters;
  • harass, bully or impersonate anyone, including through messages to parents or teachers;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with the Service, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or for academic dishonesty that breaks your school's rules.

8. Content and intellectual property

The lessons, videos, narration, animations, questions, software and branding of Sorora Learning belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Curriculum names and board syllabi belong to their respective owners; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by CBSE, CISCE or any state board.

Notes, highlights and other material you create remain yours. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the Service to you.

9. Third-party services

Some parts of the Service rely on third parties, such as Razorpay for payments and Google for sign-in. Your use of those parts is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for a third party's own services, but we will help you resolve any problem with a payment made through us.

10. Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account yourself in Settings → Delete account, or ask us to close it by writing to [email protected]. Deleting an account is permanent: see the Privacy Policy for what is erased and which purchase records are kept.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires us to. Except where the breach involved fraud or misuse of the Service, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond, and if we close an account without such a breach we will refund the unused part of any paid access period.

11. Disclaimers

Sorora Learning is a learning aid. Results depend on many things outside our control, and we do not guarantee any particular marks, exam result or admission. We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" and may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost opportunities or academic decisions made using the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the course the claim relates to. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first — most problems can be solved quickly. Subject to your rights as a consumer, the courts at Greater Noida (Gautam Buddh Nagar), Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or the Service.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service changes. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.

15. Grievance Officer and contact

Questions about these terms: [email protected]. For help with your account or a purchase: [email protected].

Complaints can be sent to our Grievance Officer, Prabhat Kumar Pannu, at [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
